To monitor the traffic on your VDS/VPS/Dedicated Server, you will need to install nload.
After installing nload, simply type nload in your terminal. Observe the IP address you suspect is under attack or experiencing issues. If the incoming traffic is very high (20 - 500 Mbps), it could indicate an attack, and you should capture the traffic.
